Learn more about intuition

Hey. It’s been awhile… Well not technically, but it feels like it’s been awhile. For the last month or so I’ve wanted to spill what’s inside my brain. Today, I get to do that.

For those of you reading this on mile222 you probably aren’t as familiar with intuition as you are with this place. But now that’s all changing. Intuition is changing, and so is mile222. Intuition is now a collective where each individual is responsible for their own well being. We’re all still free to work together, in pairs or alone. It’s an every-man-for-himself kind of situation in an attempt to foster our own personal visions and ideas to maximize our dreams. Maybe it’ll work or maybe it’s the beginning of the end. We’re not sure. But right now it feels like we’re freer than we’ve ever been before, and that’s why we started this thing in the first place, right? We’re in it to freely to create what we want. Let’s do that! No matter what!

So with all these changes, I’m now funneling my development experiences into mile222 that will syndicate over to intuition. Josh is doing the same thing with his God at Play blog. You see, it’s always been a little weird, separating my personal life (mile222) from my work (intuition) as a game developer. To be honest they are inextricably connected. I live my work, and have done so for a good many years now. I do it because I love it, and I also love to write about it in an open and honest manner so that people may learn from my mistakes. It’s the same reason I share recipes hoping that someone will have a little tastier meal for a little less money.

So here we go. I’m probably going to be posting a lot more in general on mile222 since 90% of my world is game development related. Maybe that will turn some of you off, but I’ll try to keep it concise and easy on the technical/theoretical side of things. Some of this has already bled into mile222, but now it’s going to be a full on blood flood. Now there’s a game idea! ;)
