Well, if it goes into sudden death we'd just turn off the "lose if you have no villages and less than 200 monies" conditional. We're considering this action, but it's gotta be done in a way that doesn't restrict players from doing late game strategies. I'd be a little concerned about artificially restricting gameplay after a certain point, but we'll play around with the idea in a bit.
BTW: performance has more or less been fixed. an update tonight or tomorrow is going to be give some really incredible boosts. stay tuned

I would be concerned too but this is after 20 minutes so its pretty safe to say that the game is at a standstill... if a lot of people start saying that they were only starting their game and the deterioration started then you could always move the time a bit... but I think 20 minutes is more than enough...

You know, I agree with an ultimate weapon. A weapon that costs alot and is very hard to use, but once you do, it is completely awesome.
Any ideas?

No ultimate weapon. If it was really expensive, no one would be able to buy it. If it was really powerful, trying to get the weapon would be the only thing people would focus on.

That's kinda hard to say at this point. We've done a lot of work trying to get the performance up, but the end result isn't as good as we hoped. So it's going to take more work to get it better. We need to decide whether we want to let in more people before getting the performance better or not. In this case, I'm referring to performance as FPS. What we have done is drastically improve the network performance, so the game requires a lot less bandwidth now to play. But FPS is still low, and it'll be a little while before that gets better.
As a temporary solution, most people should be able to set everything on low and disable sounds, and they'll be able to play competitively.
Meanwhile, we're trying to finish up the major features of the game. There should be an update pretty soon with quite a bit more stuff in it. Once that happens, we'll be switching back to improving performance.
I think the best thing to do is wait for our update and to get the kinks out of that, then we can send out an e-mail letting people know about the update, and have the tournament. Then after that, we'll shoot for another one and hope that by then we'll have let in more testers. What do you think?

I think you guys should hold off on testers cuz what most of them are just going to do is "Lag, can't play!!!!!! Grrrr... 1/5" or something like that... you guys should get rid of the lag and improve FPS and preformance before letting more people in... And I've noticed you guys let people in with updates, well, i don't think thats a smart move. Because with the update comes lag... and with lag comes messages like above... so make sure preformance is good then let people in...

Yep, that's why we're thinking we'll wait this time. We don't want people to judge the final game based on their experience testing what we have so far.
However, we still need plenty of help testing, so we'll most likely send out another e-mail once we get updated.

Sounds great. I shall postpone the tournament until further notice. I'd like to see these major updates Yep, that's why we're thinking we'll wait this time. We don't want people to judge the final game based on their experience testing what we have so far.
