I like that idea, but I think it might be weird if it was user controlled, and since it would also blast you too because you're busy controlling it.

I'm not sure what you mean. You could still control where the bombs drop, they would just fall in a shower.
Currently, your own weapons don't hurt you.

Meh, I think it would be cooler if it fell randomly from the sky. ( You know what I mean =) )

The meteor strike is REALLY unbalanced! One hit and the first tier is down? Woah!

That makes sense though. The first tier can be taken down with one flamethrower hit or three hits from the SAM. You also have to go to your second tier to get the meteor strike.

Well, considering it costs as much to build a tier as to take it down...

the time to make a tier vs the time to destroy a tier.
also, the time to make a tier vs the time to destroy the tier in progress of being made.
One hit can take down a 200g building.

So that essentially means that the only point of the first tier is to hold off the other person (i.e. if you're waiting for your buildings to re-grow, you keep building that tier and keeping him busy)?

You can't hold the first tier for long, though. One well placed castle or a bombard of SAMs can take it down easily, then all you have to do is kill the dino.

Who says you have to? You can just retreat to the 3rd or 2nd tier.

I was responding to ExtremePopcorn. I'm not saying it's underpowered. It should be weaker, as it's on the frontline.
But holding the first tier is key. Once you get the enemy's first tier, it's much easier to take down the rest.

Ah, because it's much easier access to the rest?

That, and because you add to your gold rate and decreased from the enemy's. It's hard to fight back, when you don't have much gold.
