Is quite simple to take after cutting off all other resources. I think the solution could be found in this picture that I "accidentally" saw in your index of images...



Villagers that defend the village? possibly. but my point really is that with all other villages taken, the attacker has a boatload of cash while the defender is down to a mere trickle. It won't take long for him to go down.

It would be cool to see a villager defense system. I saw some villagers in one of the concept art pictures. They would make it harder to capture that last city. Maybe they could throw spears/arrows or attack with swords.

If the gold was increased regardless of the number of cities taken, the matches would last forever. The losing Dino could constantly attack with "strike" weapons from his 3rd tier village.

If you had to buy them individually it might take away from the action, because you had to constantly buy them. Maybe you could buy the villagers as a add on to the village and they would spawn automatically from the village to attack nearby dinos. It would be like an upgradable defense system for the village.

I say the villagers shouldn't be allowed to move away from the village at all.

I figure if any villagers get swords, they should run maybe one or two dino-lengths towards the enemy. They should all dissapear after about 30 seconds.

I don't understand what you mean. If the dino's 3 feet away, then they run toward the dino? Wouldn't the villagers die if they went too far?

Or wait, is this a completely new idea, not relating to the "die if too far from village" idea?

New idea. They could run to attack, but stop once they get too far from the city. It would be a good defense against short ranged weapons.

The problem with that is meteors and air strikes could mutilate that idea. It would be fun to watch a villager and lawyer fight though.

Strike weapons were meant to be long ranged, so villagers wouldn't help against those. Only against dinos using short ranged weapons like the flamethrower or castle.

The villagers should be a minimal defense, it shouldn't replace your dino.
