I was thinking something like that. I think you should be able to upgrade the defense system of your village.
With each upgrade you could get and extra defense weapon that your base fires. Or decrease the time between fires.

Ahah! Maybe we can put those weapons without hotkeys to use after all..

The upgrades would have to be expensive, though. Otherwise people would just upgrade all their bases and make them impermeable.

Or the upgrades would not be that powerful. Which one do you take, high priced ownage or medium priced good stuff?

Maybe have villagers, I don't know, repair damage villages? I mean, when I beat intuition, I had to hang on because my third tear was at about 1 8th health.

Yes, I am awesome at dinowaurs, yes, I beat the Intuition staff at their own game on a laggy computer, yes, I have more forum posts than you at Kongregate, yes, I semi-personally know the developers after an interview, yes, I will overtake you in posts soon, but you are still worthwhile. I guess.

The only way you can do that right now is wait for your village to be destroyed then build another one.

Not really, you just said that we have to wait for the village to die... But here's how I think it should repair to make it easiest (from my stand point, i don't know from a programing standpoint):
Have villages have 200hp and each hp costs 1 gold, so if your village is dieing you could press you and have it start degenerating at the same rate a village builds. And if you press E again it'll stop regenerating and go to menu.

What if you wanted to buy AND have it regenerate?

Put regenerate or repair on the convinently placed R key? Also, different villages should have different HP, obviously.

You read my mind with the R key. As for "different villages should have different HP, obviously." I don't agree. The size of the village (how big it's repair, therefore take longer) versus the number of rebuilding resources should equal out and become the same.

True. I suppose the big village should just take about 5x as long to repair as the little one.
